OUR MANDATE

FSE Holdings was set up as a holding company to create and own a group of fully digital banks in African countries that will focus exclusively on delivering a full range of financial services to the unbanked and under-banked mass market customers. 

The goal is to reach 100 million customers by year 2030 across over 30 African countries and they will serve the customers with double bottom line objectives in mind; delivery of reasonable profits for shareholders and inclusion for customers along three dimensions  – financial inclusion ( access to financial services), social inclusion (access to social services – energy, health, child education and water) and economic inclusion (enterprise development and employment generation). 

The strategic ambition is for the banking group to become the leading and largest mass retail bank in Africa by 2030.  

PRODUCTS AND SERVICES OF OUR BANKS

The FSE Banks will provide a full range of products and services which are available primarily on the mobile with self service 24/7 anytime anywhere including the following: 

  • Savings

  • Loans

  • Payments including B2B and C2B

  • Remittances

  • Insurance 

The above products and services will be designed with variant offerings to enable customers to access key social services including affordable clean energy, children education, basic healthcare, water and sanitation e.g. health insurance, pay as you solar electricity loans etc. 

The products will also be designed and prioritised to enable enterprise development for underserved population with special focus on key sectors as small holder farming, masonry, micro processing industry. 

The banks will also offer non-financial services such as financial literacy, digital literacy and business management training, access to markets to aid customers derive greater utility in the use of the financial services and for their economic empowerment.
